FAQs

Where are you from?

I’m Greek, born and raised in Greece. I left my country in 2011 and from 2013-2016 I lived in Australia.

How did you first start your social media presence?

I first started blogging in 2013 using my Facebook page and WordPress. Later on, I started using Instagram. All of my blogging then was about fitness and modeling. Despite that I have a passion for both,  I soon realized that I have much more to share with you, a story and a vision…so I adopted a lifestyle approach.

What is your studies and background?

I studied in Greece Computer Programming because I love innovation. A few years later I got a MREs in Marine Management (Environmental) in the UK and I became a certified PADI Scuba Diving Instructor, in Egypt because I love the ocean, the environment and I was always curious for the water element.  A few years ago, I got a Certificate in Fitness as it’s a huge part of my life, and a Diploma in Marketing, in Australia.  This year became a certified Mindset Coach and I’m on a mission to inspire others to live life with passion! As you can clearly see I’m a nerd with diverse interests! I love learning and I will keep learning…Knowledge is the first step to untamed creativity!

Is being an Instagrammer/Blogger your job?

Yes, over the last 2 years Instagram has been part of my job. In fact being an Instagrammer or blogger is one of the most fun, yet hard-working professions. There is so much more to it than just posting beautiful images.

Are you a fitness trainer?

I have a certificate in Fitness and extensive experience in the field, I hope I can inspire others to reach their goals.

How did you get your abs?

I think I got them early in life, but definitely abs are showing off as a result of commitment to fitness and good nutrition.

Do you count calories?

I would say yes and no! In general, by experience I can estimate approximately my calories intake, because I burn them fast and I have to make sure that I meet my daily goal. Overall, I focus more on how I plan my meals, depending on my training and seasonal lifestyle.

Who takes your images?

Regarding my Instagram, currently my friends. Every now and then I will work with my photographer friends.

Are you a model?

I never considered my modeling conventional, as the traditional meaning of the term “model” used to describe a runway/fashion model. I love modeling and I see it as an art of expressing myself. I wanted to add my own personal perspective into modeling and I’m aspiring to develop my own project “SofiaStills”. The project aims to inspire other women to own their inner strength and beauty; have the courage to be authentic and follow their dreams!

I will selectively work for brands and photographers who share a common sense of message and style. I really value my modeling skills and I focus on professional work.
